Bucharest, Romania, May 30, 2013 – DS Development SRL announces the release of Bells & Whistles version 5, an Outlook productivity add-in designed to help users compose emails faster while reducing the annoyances of day-to-day email tasks.

Version 5 introduces Email Metrics for Outlook, a reports feature designed to generate customized email statistics showing the email traffic volume per email account, send & receive peak times, average email response times, average number of words per email, popular email keywords and recipients. Users can take advantage of the gathered data and understand how to maximize their email efficiency using the Bells & Whistles core productivity tools. Reports can be saved or shared by email or on Facebook.

In addition, Bells & Whistles v5 brings a new feature called Email to Task, allowing users to create an Outlook task from an Inbox email, with a single click. Since emails are widely used as a task management system, the Email to Task feature fits naturally in the Outlook interface, creating a bridge between emails and Outlook Tasks. Unlike the Outlook built-in Flag feature that only adds a task reminder to an Inbox email, the Bells & Whistles feature actually creates a regular Outlook task, using the email subject & content as task properties that can be later edited or assigned to other Outlook Tasks users.

Other new features include a search function for Bells & Whistles email notes, the option to automatically exclude your own email accounts when replying or forwarding a message with multiple recipients and the ability to mark unread emails as read, if a predefined period of time has passed since the emails were received. Bells & Whistles v5 also includes full support for Microsoft Office Outlook 2013 (both x32 and x64) and a revamped interface (matching the Microsoft Office 2013 / Windows 8 design style).

For over 9 years, Bells & Whistles improves the way users handle Outlook emails, by automating repetitive email tasks, such as writing greetings, signatures or disclaimers.
