Frequently Asked Questions
Auto Reply Manager helps you setup automatic Outlook emails (reply, forward, redirect) in response to incoming messages. This Frequently Asked Questions section was composed using the most popular questions that our users asked us over time.
Auto Reply Manager is designed as an add-in for Outlook, so it requires Outlook to be running in order to send the automatic emails.
Yes, you can. When you edit your rule, you simply have to select all email accounts (in the “Accounts & Folders Filter” tab) that you wish to be included in your rule.
No. A new rule can only be applied to email messages that you are going to receive from that moment forward.
You can test any rule by enabling it to process messages received from your own email accounts, then sending test messages to yourself. You can also use the logging window: by enabling the log diagnostic messages option, you can see how each message was handled by Auto Reply Manager.
You can install and use Auto Reply Manager on a web server, as long as you also install Outlook and keep it running on that machine.
Using the “Date & Keyword Filter” options, you can setup a rule to process only those incoming emails that contain certain keywords in the email subject or in the email body content.
Of course. All you have to do is to edit your rule and mark the option to keep the original email subject, in the “Message Settings” tab.
The latest Auto Reply Manager version is 2.0.118.0. You can always check for updates by using the updates button available from your main Auto Reply Manager toolbar.
